Partners

The partnership includes seven Italian Universities situated in different regions, spanning from the North to the South of Italy.

These Universities are involved in conservation programmes implementing the in situ and/or studying the ex-situ in vitro techniques.

The Universities involved in the partnership are:

•University of Milan, Department of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Sciences;
•University of Florence, Department of Agriculture, Food, Environment and Forestry;
•University of Padua, Department of Agronomy, Food, Natural Resources, Animals and Environment;
•University of Perugia, Department of Agricultural, Food and Environmental Sciences;
•University of Molise, Department of Agriculture, Environment and Food;
•University of Pisa, Department of Veterinary Sciences;
•University of Turin, Department of Veterinary Sciences.

Every University uses internal or external Conservation Centers for the management of poultry breed populations.
